Description
A young female Hyena showing her brother who is the boss taken in the Sabi Sands Greater Kruger area in South Africa. Hyena have a matriarchal society with the females being larger than the males, also, being in charge of the Clan. The highest ranking male is still lower than the lowest ranking female within their group and they will make sure that each member of their clan know their place in the hierarchy. I love all animals but I find Hyena fascinating to observe.
