Egrets at sunset, Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe. This is one of three images that was published in a coffee table book in 1993. It was also published several times being used in the travel industry as advertisements to promote travel to Zimbabwe, Bumi Hills, and Lake Kariba. We were on a boat drifting by the Mopane Trees where the Egrets roost at night. No flash was used on this image and it was taken on Ektachrome 64X slide film. This is one of my very top sellers still to this day in any size from 5x7 cards up to 24x36 prints and every size in between.

Although I have traveled extensively throughout the United States, my heart and soul belong to Africa. The people, sights, smells, sounds, sunrises, sunsets, landscapes, animals and birds bring so much joy to my heart, my whole life has changed. From my very first trip in1993 to South Africa and Zimbabwe to my last trip to South Africa and Namibia, every time I return home I can't wait to start planning my next trip. Besides receiving numerous awards for some of my images, quite a few images have been published over the years in travel brochures, newspaper articles and advertisements. Three of my images were also included in a coffee table book. I travel with https://www.rothschildsafaris.com I have been a volunteer for South Bay...
