A Malachite Kingfisher concentrating on his fishing skills at the Sunset Dam in the Kruger National Park, South Africa. This little one was on a roll, every time he dove head first into the water he came up with a small Fish. On two occasions the Fish were almost as big as he was.

Although I have traveled extensively throughout the United States, my heart and soul belong to Africa. The people, sights, smells, sounds, sunrises, sunsets, landscapes, animals and birds bring so much joy to my heart, my whole life has changed. From my very first trip in1993 to South Africa and Zimbabwe to my last trip to South Africa and Namibia, every time I return home I can't wait to start planning my next trip. Besides receiving numerous awards for some of my images, quite a few images have been published over the years in travel brochures, newspaper articles and advertisements.
